 There is no discussion on the audit report and if the report is not accepted by us, we will throw out the previous accounts cases and we get to hear ridiculous statements like this Chartered Accountant is CA managed etc.  In fact, one hears a complaint that certain two or three officials are looking at the entire financial affairs of the organization
However, committee members are not taken into confidence by the trustees and are not given a copy of the audit report.

 A person handling accounts in a religious organization was appointed without any knowledge of the subject.  The documents were sent to him before the CA for verification.  Finally, a large amount of money was embezzled in that organization and the organization was left to falter.  Weak supervision of the organization and officials and ignorance of the issue also contributed to the embezzlement.

 In such a situation, it is time for every small and big church and congregation to keep a close eye on their financial affairs and keep a strict control on the accumulated expenses.
